TAI CHI FOR REHABILITATION
This program, developed by the Tai Chi for Health Institute, is ideal to aid in recovery from ill health.
A very effective therapeutic tool that almost anyone can learn to help recover from chronic illness, stroke, heart disease, injury, surgical procedure, chronic fatigue and stress. All of the movements in this program are taught in a standing position, as well as seated in a chair. This class is designed for a small number of students, so that individual attention can be given to each participant and tailored for their specific needs.
Recent medical studies show that tai chi improves many aspects of health - muscular strength, flexibility, and physical fitness, relaxed mind and improved mental balance to help manage stress. Tai Chi for Health is endorsed by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
The program is taught by a Tai Chi for Health Institute board-certified teacher.
